I mean, Cam is a terrible hockey player. But for once he isn't trying to check everybody into the third row. I think this is what the enforcer is evolving into in the NHL. You need to be a serviceable fourth liner who happens to fight when needed.

Also nice posts about Zajac, I've generally been one of his defenders. He's one of our most important players even when he's not scoring, and he definitely still have lots of potential to put up solid numbers.

It's going to be real interesting to see what happens when Salvador comes back. At this point you can't sit Larsson or Gelinas, and it makes no sense to constantly have two guys (like Harrold and Fayne) sitting, not to mention if the team still wants a look at Merrill.

I also continually forget that this team signed Ryan Clowe. What a phantom signing.

Nice win Devils! Playing good hockey over the last 10 games and certainly deserved the win against the Maple Laughs. Big game tomorrow against the Blue Skirts, but very winnable! GO DEVILS!

Harrold should be in the ahl and fayne should be playing

Also I'm getting the feeling Lou wants people to forget about clowe

Yes and Yes.

Elias needs to come back, make a decent 2nd line out of some mixture or Ryder/Brunner/Henrique. They all exhibit skill and a degree of speed, but haven't really found that competency of a unit. No game plan or chemistry. Somebody dumps, somebody chases, sometimes a goal happens. Most times a Brunner minor happens. I think Patty can be the gel.

Clowe is so lumbering slow he hasn't even made it home from the team doctor yet.

ZZGrandPops Line. Get on board.

Everything about this is true, and it makes me hate everything. Lou was really defensive of the Clowe deal when the reporters kept was asking about his concussion history, but it looks like the armchair GM's like us have been right to this point.

Wish he gave that money to Filppula like I was calling for from the beginning, but I get that he wanted to add some sandpaper after Clarky. The contract is looking like it'll be worse than Rolston.

Rolstons contract wasn't bad until he got that high ankle sprain. Never was the same after that. I remember like it was yesterday. 1-0 game against the thrashers. Rolston with the only goal, crashed into the boards after he scored and that was it.

I didn't like how he complained about every coach we had and how he didn't fit any of their systems, like it was all Lou's fault. Also the shots he took after he left NJ about how Parise is going to a better hockey atmosphere when he left and all that. He can go kick rocks.

Speaking of which, they should just have Gelinas pull a Rolston shoot-out if it comes down to it again. Skate 10 feet inside the blue line and just let one rip.

Never saw any of that stuff he said about parise but I think he couldn't fit anyone's systems because he never recovered his injury. Guy looked slow as (frank) ever since.

Another great team effort and an even better result. The Devils' 41 year olds continue to play well and continue to make history. Congratulations to Jagr, Brodeur and to the rest of the team! Finally, if Janssen keeps scoring, Elias can take his time coming back... Just kidding!

He was also really soft. All he wanted to do was shoot.

Jagr is playing great can't say enough about his play and leadership. Marty has been fantastic really has found his form and looks good. Don't know who gets the nod on Tuesday hard to say Marty doesn't deserve it. Cam is exceeding expectations to say the least and good for him glad he is proving me and many others wrong right now. Nice to say Zajac on the score sheet thought he had a good game vs tor as well it was good to see him get rewarded. Hopefully he can build some chemistry with Jagr. Overall good game last night came out from the start and didn't stop until it was over. Big game coming up on Tuesday.
